Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Engineer – £35,000 – Days – Monday to Friday
BCS Connect is working on behalf of a well-established heavy industrial business seeking to appoint a Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £35,000, working straight days from Monday to Friday.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills to join a high-performing maintenance team. You will be working in a challenging and fast-paced industrial environment, supporting the ongoing reliability and efficiency of plant equipment and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably gained within a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting. You will be expected to carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond quickly to breakdowns, and be involved in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
You should have proven experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, be confident with fault finding and diagnostics, and hold the 18th Edition wiring regulations certification. Experience working with industrial plant, conveyors, motors, pumps, or similar large-scale equipment will be highly beneficial.
This is a days-only role, with no requirement for shift or weekend work. It offers the chance to work in a stable, long-term role with opportunities for development and progression within a well-respected engineering team.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
18th Edition certification
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
If you're looking for a long-term move and enjoy a hands-on role in a dynamic and supportive environment, we want to hear from you.
