Role Overview:
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stourbridge. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our machinery and production equipment operating efficiently, with a strong emphasis on mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repair of machinery including presses, conveyors, and other production equipment

Basic electrical fault-finding and minor repairs as needed

Mechanical work including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, welding, and general fabrication

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and attending to breakdowns

Supporting production operations by reducing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability
Requirements:

Time-served mechanical engineer

Background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Basic understanding of electrical systems (advantageous)

Safety-conscious, proactive, and able to work independently
