Crynodeb
Nursery Cook will be responsible for the preparation of a variety of food for children aged 3 months - 5 years old. We like using fresh seasonal produce and to vary our menus to promote different tastes and healthy eating. You will also be catering for children with food intolerances.
Ideally you would have a level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and be familiar with The Food Standards Agencies.
You need to be a confident, organised and an enthusiastic person. You will have sole responsibility for the food at the Nursery. You will also be required to write weekly shopping lists, make weekly orders, keep the kitchen appliances and the kitchen itself clean and tidy. Load the dishwasher and washing machine.
The hours for this post are 9.30am - 1.30pm Monday to Friday. We are not open on Bank Holidays and we close for 1 week at Christmas.
Please note the successful candidate for this position must undergo an enhanced DBS check.
