An inclusive and well-resourced SEN school in Islington is looking to welcome a committed and compassionate teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025. Catering to pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and complex communication needs, the school is renowned for its inclusive ethos, strong behaviour support frameworks, and exceptional commitment to staff development.

As a Special Needs Teacher, you will:

Teach a small, well-supported class of pupils with EHCPs

Deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to individual needs

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider support staff

Utilise communication and regulation strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and visual aids

Foster a nurturing and structured learning environment that empowers every student to succeed

QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs with relevant SEN experience are encouraged to apply)
