Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday), term time only
The Governors of The Elton High School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Safeguarding in Education Officer, with a specific focus on Children Looked After. (Four days per week will be dedicated to Children Looked After, one day per week will be supporting key members of the Student Support Team).
The role will involve leading on the development, completion and implementation of PEPs (Personal Education Plans). To plan appropriate provision and support for all Children Looked After and post-CLA. The post holder will also be required to provide high quality safeguarding advice and support on safeguarding related issues in school. You will possess an extensive knowledge and experience of support children with a strong background in schools, education or children’s social care.
