Are you passionate about Physics and ready to inspire the next generation of scientists? A School in Chelmsford is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You'll be part of a well-resourced and supportive Science department that values curiosity, critical thinking, and high academic expectations.
Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher, you'll benefit from excellent CPD, mentoring, and collaboration within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Physics across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5)
• Plan engaging, differentiated lessons that foster enquiry and application
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and improve outcomes
• Promote STEM engagement through practical work, clubs, and events
• Work collaboratively within the Science department and across the school
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Qualifications and Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Physics or related subject
• Experience teaching Physics at secondary level
• Strong curriculum knowledge and lesson planning skills
• ECTs welcome - full induction and support provided
• A commitment to inclusive education and student success
