Summary
Pagoda Virtual Academy | Remote | Flexible | Commission-Based
*Help us reimagine secondary education — one partnership at a time.*
### Who We Are
Our client, Pagoda Virtual Academy is a fast-growing online secondary school, built for students who want something different — and better — than the traditional classroom. We’re on a mission to make high-quality, flexible, and future-ready education accessible to young people across the UK and around the world.
We’re not just changing *how* students learn — we’re changing *where*, *when*, and *why*. Now, we’re looking for someone equally ambitious to help us scale that mission through powerful partnerships.
### The Role
We’re on the hunt for a Strategic Partnership Manager — someone who sees opportunities where others see obstacles. You’ll take the lead in building relationships with schools, educational agents, consultants, local authorities, and organisations that can benefit from what Pagoda offers.
This is a self-employed, freelance role — ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, loves the thrill of opening doors, and wants to grow with a startup making real impact.
### What You’ll Be Doing
* Identifying new partnership opportunities across the UK and internationally
* Pitching Pagoda to schools, agencies, and educational organisations
* Creating proposals that are smart, compelling, and mission-aligned
* Managing partner relationships from first contact to long-term collaboration
* Reporting on results, refining strategies, and contributing to growth
* Acting as an ambassador for Pagoda at virtual events and (sometimes) in person
### You Should Apply If You...
* Have a background in business development, partnerships, or educational sales
* Know the UK education space — bonus if you’ve worked with online or alternative schools
* Are a confident communicator who can pitch with purpose
* Are self-driven, target-focused, and happy working solo (with support)
* Love building things — relationships, pipelines, strategies — from the ground up
* Are excited by a flexible, performance-based model with real earning potential
### What’s in It for You
✨ Flexible hours, fully remote
Commission-based pay with uncapped earning potential
Chance to shape the growth of a startup making waves in education
Work directly with the founding team — and help influence strategy from day one
Grow with us as we expand in the UK and globally
### Ready to Join Us?
Send your CV and a short note (doesn’t need to be formal) telling us why you’re interested in the role.
Pagoda Virtual Academy is all about inclusion, flexibility, and access — and that applies to our team too. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and walks of life.
