Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team Service Manager – Band 8a

Full time, 12 months secondment or fixed term

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust to join our Urgent Care Senior Management Team.

The post holder will be a key member of the management team, who will beresponsible for providing clinical and operational leadership and the overall planning,managementanddeliveryofserviceswithintheirdesignatedserviceportfolio.

Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHTT) is an essential components of the crisis carepathway supporting patients in the community who are experiencing mental health crisis and/or require home treatment for early intervention to prevent further escalation of mental health challenges. CRHTT is a multi-disciplinary team who assess patients' mental health needs or a combination of mental, physical, psychological andsocial factors. CRHT exploresalternatives to hospital admission ensuring the least restriction option giving priority to care delivery closer to home while optimising safe and effective care. CRHTT will embrace joint decision making with patients, family and carers and other services to support appropriate risk management planning.

This post offers you the experience to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering a wide range of services to people with a variety of mental health needs, working closely with our Partner agencies and other third sector and statutory organisations .

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who has a strong focus on service improvement, quality, development and integrated working. The successful post holder will need to be able to effectively set priorities and work in a busy environment. You will need to be approachable, have excellent communication and liaison skills to engage and collaborate with a number of colleagues and stakeholders across the services.

As an ambassador for Mental Health Services, you will champion the improvement and transformation of clinical services and help to drive the Mental Health operational agenda by demonstrating innovative patient and clinical outcomes. The post holder will be accountable to the Head of Service for Urgent Care and Associate Director of Operations. Through well-established leadership skills and experience of management of clinical teams a visible operational leadership is imperative in conjunction in being flexible in approach to coordinate clinical leadership and monitor operational delivery.

Regular supervision will be provided and you will be encouraged to undertake any training relevant to your professional and personal development.

The service received an overall rating of Good by the CQC and an Outstanding for care and compassion of which we are rightly proud. We have also been recognised both locally and nationally by receiving awards for the services we provide.

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.
