Franklin Sixth Form College is a thriving, successful sixth form college serving North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding rural and coastal area, with around 2,100 full-time 16-18 and 500 part-time adult students. HR & PAYROLL ASSISTANT - PART TIME – 12 HOURS PER WEEK - ALL YEAR ROUND

This is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and dedicated team of HR professionals, working in a fast paced and varied role. The role of HR and Payroll Assistant is pivotal to the success of the College in building a culture of trust, embedding the College’s values and sustaining a high performing workforce.

We are looking for a confident and resourceful HR and Payroll Assistant; with a proactive and positive approach to work, thorough and well organised and able to work independently and under pressure on a wide variety of generalist HR tasks. The candidate will also play a key role in supporting our Payroll Assistant with our outsourced payroll provision. You will provide an outstanding service to line managers and employees alike, offering a professional and comprehensive HR service. Previous payroll experience is not essential but would be extremely advantageous. In-house training will be given and the opportunity to study towards a formal payroll qualification would also be considered for the right candidate.

The HR & Payroll Assistant will possess a CIPD Level 3 Certificate or an equivalent payroll qualification and must have at least 3 years previous experience in a HR Assistant or HR & Payroll Assistant role or similar.

This is a part time position working 12 hours per week all year round, ideally over 3 days per week, however some flexibility in terms of working days/hours would be considered for the right candidate.

Due to the continued growth and development of the College, there may be the potential for additional hours in the future.

The salary range for this role is SFCA Support Staff pay points 8 - 12 (currently £25,330 - £28,408 full time equivalent). Pro rata salary range is £8,215.13 to £9,213.40 per annum (0.3243 fte)

The starting salary will be dependent upon experience.
