Crynodeb
The post holder would take part in the Paediatric acute rota. The rota is EWTD (European Working Time Directive) compliant. Two separate middle grade full-shift rotas run; one team covers the A&E/ ward area with the other team covering the NICU/ labour ward. This post is for the ward and A & E rota. 3 Community SpRs from the Lewisham Community Paediatric team participate in the acute on-call rotas. There are 8 SHOs who are on a full shift rota in general paediatrics. There is also a pre-registration house officer F1. The Childrens A&E and NICU have separate full shift teams of SHOs. At times there may be adult A&E middle grade staff on secondment to the Childrens A&E department.
