Production Operative - Frame Department

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge
Start Date: From June 2025
Duration: Up to 12 weeks
Hours: Mon-Thu 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-1pm
Hourly Rate: £12.21 + Holiday Pay
Overtime paid at £14.00/hr for hours over 40 per week

Manpower is seeking a reliable Production Operative to join the Frame Department of our client in Waterbeach. This temporary role involves setting up and operating machinery, producing, and assembling frames, and maintaining quality standards within strict deadlines. If you're eager to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment this summer and are interested in a temporary seasonal role, we would love to hear from you!

Applicants will undergo assessments, and successful candidates may start anytime between June and August. All assignments will last for a maximum of 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain production machinery (Cassese Saw, Underpinner, Valiani, Apache printer)
  • Operate machines to meet daily targets and quality standards
  • Perform manual handling of stock and assist with stock takes
  • Follow health and safety regulations and support other photography areas as needed

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year production experience with machinery operation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Manual handling knowledge and good mechanical understanding
  • Positive, team-oriented, and open to learning new methods
