Description: Personal Assistant required to support and provide a short break for the parent of a 9yr old girl who is autistic and has no speech. The person ideally suited to this role will be a kind patient and flexible person.
Hours: up to 10 hrs a week on a flexible basis possible overnights and more hours may be available.
Wage: £12.21 per hour
Duties will include Personal care, supporting the child in your own home to provide short break support, administration of medicine and supporting the child in any activities that they enjoy.
Applicants must be: Non- smoker, Caring, reliable, and trustworthy, flexible, car driver desirable but not essential.
Female applicants only (permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010). Applicants are required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and references.
