Description: A family is looking for 3 confident and caring personal assistants to support a 12yr old boy with complex needs and challenging behaviour to access the community and enjoy his many hobbies like horse riding, walks in the park and soft play, Support will be provided on a 3:1 basis so being able to work with other people well, is essential.
Hours: 5hrs per week term time 6.5hrs during school holidays during school holidays.
Wage: £14.33 per hour
Duties will include: To ensure the child is safe whilst supporting to access activities, assistance with dressing and personal care.
Applicants must be Patient, flexible, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Knowledge of Autism and positive behaviour support strategies are an advantage; however, information can be provided at interview, car driver with own vehicle is essential.
The successful applicant will undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to starting.
