Heywood Academy will become the latest new school in the New Bridge Multi-Academy Trust when it opens its doors to students in September 2025.
It will be a 75-placement school that offers tailored educational support for children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and/or who may experience Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) associated with ASC.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified School Business Manager to join our fantastic new team. As the school will be at the very start of its journey and the new school staff and students will be embedding themselves, we are looking for colleagues who embrace flexibility and are willing to support where required. This could include reception and administration duties.
With the support of the Executive Head Teacher and the Trust’s central team, the successful candidate will play a significant role in:
leading and managing our new school with responsibility for all our non-curricular support teams.
setting and monitoring the budget.
implementing and reviewing all our business processes.
helping to shape the future direction of the school over the short and medium terms.

This post will be subject to a number of pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996. Salary: SCP 33 37. £42,708 - £46,731 per annum
Contracted hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week. Monday to Friday / full year
Based: Heywood Academy
Commencing: Immediate start
