Plymouth Grove Primary School is looking for a dedicated individual that will join our leadership team and help drive forward our SEND provision.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the school’s provision of SEND and demonstrate their ability to deliver the best possible outcomes for all learners.
They will be able to demonstrate their evidence of successful multi agency working and will preferably already hold or be willing to work towards the National Professional SENDCo Qualification.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an excellent knowledge of SEN in a primary school;
- Has knowledge of the SEND code of practice
- Can play a key role by ensuring that all pupils with additional needs make accelerated progress and achieve to the best of their ability;
- Will contribute to and implement strategic plans for the provision of pupils with EHCPs;
- Will lead CPD for staff and workshops for parents;
- Can provide leadership and direction to a large staff team by providing guidance and support that ensures high quality teaching, and effective use of support and resources;
- Will professionally liaise with outside agencies/specialists to help achieve the best outcomes for pupils;
- Is a team player, has a positive outlook;
- Will contribute to the wider life of the school;
- Has lots of energy and enthusiasm
We are looking for someone to start from September, however, we would consider a candidate who can start in January 2026.
