Job Title: Admin Officer
Location: Norwich Combined Court - Fully Office-Based
Salary: £12.36 per hour
Working Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37 hours per week)
Contract Type: Temporary (with strong likelihood of extension)

If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity to work within the Public Sector, we are recruiting on behalf of our client at HMCTS Norwich Combined Court for a Full-Time Admin Officer.

This is a key position supporting the day-to-day running of the court. You'll be part of a fast-paced team helping ensure proceedings are well-organised and run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progress cases through the court/tribunal system
  • Support various court functions by following established guidelines
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Manage and respond to email correspondence
  • Create, update, and maintain records and case files
  • Input accurate data into internal systems
  • Prepare and organise paperwork for hearings and meetings
  • General administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and managing documents
  • Book and prepare meeting rooms
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Remain professional, calm, and proactive in a busy office environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and managing shared inboxes
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage a high workload and prioritise tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
