Summary


The World Health Organisation says "Immunization is key to primary health care, an indisputable human right, and one of the best health investments money can buy." We are looking for a senior administrator who can bring all of their skills and attention to detail to support our clinicians to deliver the community and school age immunisation service across Norfolk and Waveney.



The work will involve some weekend and evening work to meet the needs of our communities.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of communities by supporting the delivery of a variety of vaccinations. The role involves providing leadership to a small group of administrative assistants supporting the immunisation team across a range of administrative tasks in a variety of community clinics including schools, and office environments. Ideally you will have experience of working with a variety of ages, and experience of working in a health care setting would be useful.

You will have excellent communication skills both spoken and written and be able to establish good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and service users . You will be IT literate with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel applications. The ability to organize and plan the workload priorities both for yourself and the administrative team is essential. As is an ability to problem solve and to be able to lead a team through change. Experience of working with Systmone electronic health records would be an advantage .

A full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Dealwithtelephone,mail,e-mailandgeneralenquiriesbyprioritisingandensuringthatappropriate messagesarerelayedtotheappropriateteammemberoractiontaken.




Advanced keyboard skills/touch typing tofacilitatetheaccurateand speedy production of reports, spreadsheets,correspondenceand minutetaking.


Communicating with other professionalmembersof staff within the Trust and external agencies on behalf of Community andSchoolAgedImmunisationServiceTeam.





Tomaintainand createExcelspreadsheetsinrelationtotheworkofthe Community and SchoolAgedImmunisationServiceTeam.


To maintain and create administrative processes and guidance in partnership with the Team Lead for the administrative and clinical teams of the Community and School Age Immunisation Service.
