This could be offered as a secondment or on a fixed-term basis. The post will be based in the Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Service, which includes both the in-patient and out-patient service.

The post holder will be joining a well-integrated and established multi-disciplinary team providing Level 1 rehabilitation to a varied and challenging caseload of patients aged from 16 years old and upwards. This will involve providing specialist Physiotherapy to the inpatient unit, out-patients within Jubilee House, and across other community locations.

The post holder will require a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC. The post holder will possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills, be a good communicator and able to prioritise and work well as a member of a team. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out specialist assessments and planning and delivering interventions, both with individuals, their relatives and carers. The post holder should have a collaborative and enthusiastic style, as well as a passion and commitment to develop and promote evidence-based practice.

A full UK driving licence is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
• To provide highly specialist physiotherapy to patients into the tier 1 service, adapting clinical practice where the complexity of patients means that standard of practice will not meet their need.
• To contribute to the delivery of high standards of health care to complex patients within the in-patient and out-patient services within CCSRS, other community hospitals, satellite community clinics and patient's place of residence, through assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating packages of care. This is for the East of England region.
• To develop targeted therapy programmes to be carried out by Rehabilitation Assistants.
• To work in line with the Trust objectives.
