The Central Vetting Coordinator will play a vital role within the Central Vetting team, acting as a trusted partner to ensure the effective administration and handling of employee vetting standards.

This position requires a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while maintaining visible and proactive communication with stakeholders across the business.

Job Description

As Central Vetting Coordinator, you will represent the team with exemplary customer service, ensuring a smooth and professional vetting process that meets all internal governance frameworks and statutory requirements.

Through a detail-oriented and dependable approach, you will contribute to maintaining a high standard of operational integrity and employee compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Process new and existing employee vetting to meet ISS and customer compliance standards.
Manage the Experian Right to Work portal and ensure all checks comply with UK policy.
Maintain vetting databases and monitor renewals based on customer requirements.
Handle DBS, IID, and licence applications; manage online vetting portals.
Oversee vetting and RTW inboxes, responding to queries and supporting managers.
Conduct Personnel File audits and assist with internal and external compliance reviews.
Ensure all practices align with GDPR and current UK vetting regulations.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Process employee vetting for new starters and existing staff, ensuring compliance with ISS and customer standards.
Manage the Experian Right to Work portal, including monitoring of time-limited permissions.
Maintain vetting databases and employee personnel files accurately and in line with GDPR.
Handle DBS, IID, and licensing applications via online systems.
Respond to vetting and RTW queries while supporting and training managers as needed.
Conduct personnel file audits and assist with internal and external compliance reporting.
Collaborate with managers and shared teams to ensure full vetting and compliance adherence.
