The Central Vetting Reporting Analyst will act as a trusted partner within the People and Culture team, delivering exceptional HR administration, reporting, and data analysis while ensuring full compliance with GDPR and internal governance standards.
Job Description
You will maintain regular and visible engagement with key stakeholders, providing clear, professional communication and setting the standard for customer service within the function.
Your work will be completed with high attention to detail and accuracy, supporting both internal processes and statutory obligations.
In this role, you will assist the Central Vetting Manager in upholding compliance across key areas such as Right to Work checks, vetting processes, data accuracy, and audit readiness.
You’ll also work closely with the P&C Compliance Team, escalating issues as needed to ensure a robust and legally sound operation.
This position requires someone with strong data handling skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to confidently manage sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate vetting and Right to Work data, ensuring GDPR compliance and supporting audit processes
Produce, analyse, and present vetting compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support assurance activities against Central Vetting Matrix standards and legal requirements
Assist in policy and document updates in response to legislative or compliance changes
Conduct personnel file audits and support annual internal and external audit data collation
Deliver scheduled and ad hoc compliance reporting, escalating issues where necessary
Deputise for the Central Vetting Manager in reporting, data analysis, and audit-related matters
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Strong customer service ethos with excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive data
Confident in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data reporting and analysis
Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Good understanding of GDPR, vetting standards, and audit readiness
Able to build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders
Experience with compliance processes such as RTW and government vetting standards
