Salary: Starting Salary is £44,711 (Level one) rising to £47,754 (Level four) per annum (pro rata for part-time) And a welcome bonus of £3,250
About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Social Worker within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) within our First Response team.
First Response is responsible for ensuring that children and families receive the right support at the right time through strengths-based assessment.
This role involves close collaboration with our multi-agency partners to safeguard children and families through timely and effective responses.
You will be responsible for making critical, timely, and evidence-based threshold decisions to protect children and identify the most appropriate services to support families. A child-centred approach is at the heart of all our decision-making.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality support and care for Nottingham City’s children and families, ensuring they receive the right help at the right time.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with Social Work England
- Relevant experience in safeguarding
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday) located at Loxley House.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional Social Work Qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Direct experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Possession of full driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication skills to support internal and multi-agency working relationship
An enhanced DBS check is required.
