We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Manager to join and support our growing business. This is a regional role, based in our Cardiff office.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager you will play a pivotal role in helping deliver the regional training programme as well as our social value commitments.

Our culture ‘The Lovell Way’ is at the heart of all our organisation and this is an excellent opportunity for someone to engage with the region and nurture a positive learning environment.

A key aspect of the role is the facilitation of training events, course and packages, sourcing relevant new content and providers.

Additionally, you will represent our business at careers fairs, with clients, at monthly meetings and interviews and have previously been involved in training and assessing trainers and maintaining their development.

We are seeking previous hands-on experience in delivering Targeted Recruitment and Training (TRT) and Employment Skills Plans (ESP). Budget management and reporting experience is essential for the role as is a broad understanding of training / education bodies.

You are likely to have come from a construction or similar background and have familiarity with making full use of CITB and Apprenticeship levy funding. You'll ideally have a post graduate qualification and have excellent active influencing, communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of iTrent would be advantage as we are starting the process of moving our HR and Learning systems onto this platform.
