Crynodeb
To mange the laboratory requirements which facilitate national and international cadaveric surgical simulation training programmes based in the NSTC. To be accountable for ensuring the provision of a high quality responsive service meeting both regulatory and accreditation requirements specifically in relation to the Human Tissue Authority (HTA). To be responsible for all laboratory provisions including preparation of theatres, medical equipment, surgical instruments, implementing infection control policies, sterilisation and processing of equipment. Assist in the completion of audits, quality management, development of SOPs, health and safety and incident reporting in line with HTA regulatory activities and standards. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
