An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school team. We are looking for a passionate educator who can motivate and engage students across biology, chemistry, and physics at Key Stages 3 and 4. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Teach general science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
Plan, assess, and adapt learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and scientific thinking.
Support students in achieving strong outcomes in science and developing essential practical skills.
Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and extra-curricular science activities.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a science-related subject.
Experience teaching general science at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
A commitment to high standards and continuous professional development.
