Crynodeb
The post holder will support the management of ward/unit and will deputise for the Ward/Unit Manager as required. S/he will carry out allocated duties at the direction of the Ward/Unit Manager and provide clinical supervision and support to an identified staff group. S/he will regularly take charge of the ward and manage the team in the absence of the Ward Manager. The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team framework in the delivery of care to patients within the intensive care setting. S/he will act as a primary/associate nurse for a group of patients, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care. As a primary/associate nurse the post holder will promote person-centred care and ensure that all care plans reflect this approach. S/he will also be expected to teach and supervise others including newly qualified and unqualified staff
