The role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and community-focused Neighbourhood Response Officer to join a leading housing association. This role is central to ensuring that neighbourhood are safe, clean, and vibrant places where residents are proud to live.
You will take the lead on understanding local needs, supporting vulnerable customers, investigating tenancy breaches, and tackling anti-social behaviour. Collaboration with internal teams, resident groups, and external partners will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers
Conduct regular estate inspections and prioritise fire safety actions
Work with residents’ groups to support community facilities and events
Liaise with local partners on safety and ASB issues
Coordinate with internal departments on neighbourhood services
Visit and support customers in breach of tenancy or requiring additional support
Carry out viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy assignments
Represent our client in court, including evictions and stay hearings
Conduct property condition checks and assist with major incidents or decanting
