What skills and experience we're looking for
The Quinta Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our amazing team as a Year 5 class teacher in a 0.5 job share role. You will be working alongside a highly experienced teacher, supported by your parallel class teacher, a committed team of teaching assistants, and the wider school community.
We believe strongly in job satisfaction and wellbeing. This position offers the opportunity to maintain a healthy life balance and is particularly well-suited to early career teachers or those seeking part-time work in a supportive and ambitious school.

• Can deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire, motivate and raise attainmentPlans high-quality sequences of learning that enable children to make excellent progress
• Has a secure understanding of early reading and how it supports progress across the curriculum
• Has high expectations and the ability to challenge pupils appropriatelyIs a team player who works collaboratively and positively with colleagues and the school community
• Builds warm, respectful relationships with children and families
• Has a positive, cheerful outlook and a good sense of humour
• Remains calm and reflective under pressure
