Salary: £30,559 - £33,366 per annum (Grade 5)

Hours: 36.66 per week

Role Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to support the co-design and implementation of the national Families First Partnership Programme in Oldham. You will work alongside the programme team to ensure that Children’s Services are set up as a single integrated system that supports the wellbeing of and protects all children from significant harm, inside and outside of the home.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of a range of project documentation and reports, and ensure where possible, that they are accurate and up to date, including monitoring version control.
  • Tracking and reporting on risks and issues connected with the project, as written in the associated project documentation, and escalate issues as required.
  • Monitor project timescales, record the achievement of project milestones, issue reminders to prompt others when the agreed actions are pending/ overdue, and escalate delays as appropriate.
  • Be the point of contact for the project team, giving information and advice connected to the project as requested, and directing queries/requests to the appropriate member of the project team as required.


Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience of undertaking a range of co-ordination and monitoring activities to support others to successfully deliver projects and/or programmes of work
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships with others at all levels within the organisation to encourage and persuade other to engage with progressing the objectives of the project
  • Understanding of the project support requirements that could be undertaken at different stages over the project lifestyle
