Are you an empathetic and experienced support worker looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a Male Support Worker to provide high-quality care for an individual living in their family home in Ferndown.
About the Role:This individual has learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, a communication disorder, and behaviours that can be perceived as challenging, but they are so much more than their diagnoses! With a fantastic sense of humour and a love for activities like swimming, trampolining, shopping, visiting fun fairs and exploring churches, they need someone who will support them in living a fulfilling life.
Your role will involve providing 2:1 support-helping them engage in activities, ensuring their well-being, and assisting with daily tasks to foster independence. You will need to use clear and confident communication to build trust and create a comfortable and structured environment.
Requirements:To succeed in this role, you should have experience supporting individuals with:

Additionally, you must:

Be local to Bournemouth and familiar with the area

Hold a full UK driving licence to facilitate outings and activities
