What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a member of staff to work in our Internal Inclusive Provision, supporting children with a range of communication needs. You will benefit from working with an expert team including the SENDCO and experienced staff and will be provided with the relevant training you need to support our children.

Key Responsibilities:

-provide small group support for children with communication and sensory needs

-deliver intervention programmes to support children’s communication and listening and attention e.g. Intensive Interaction, Connect to Communicate

-foster nurturing and caring relationships with children, encouraging self-regulation and social skill development

-provide personal care and support for students, as required

-assist with the planning and delivery of continuous provision to promote communication

We are looking for:

-some one who has experience working with children with communication needs is highly desirable

-a patient, empathetic and flexible approach

-excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships with children and families

-a team player who is willing to work with other staff and external agencies.

1 x Permanent Teaching Assistant Level 3, Start Date September 2025.

32.5 hours per week 8.30am-3.30pm with half an hour lunch break. Staff undertake a 30-minute lunch time supervision of children each day.

Grade 5 points 12-17. Annual salary £20,843-£22,610. Pay award pending.
