Glendevon ELC Centre

Various Posts – Temporary Posts

An opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Officer to join the large team at Glendevon Early Learning and Childcare Centre on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave/absences.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.

With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

There are several positions as follows:-

Post 1 – CS6744 - Full Time (37 hours) on a full year basis (not term time) until 29th August 2026

Post 2 – CS6745 - Part time (22.2 hours) working Wednesday to Friday on a full year basis (not term time) until 26th June 2026

Post 2 – CS6531 – Part Time (22.2 hours) working Monday to Wednesday on a full year basis (not term time) until 29th August 2026

Please note the salary in the advert will be adjusted accordingly for part time contract.

Glendevon ELC Centre is open 8am to 6pm and therefore you should be available to work a shift pattern between these hours.
