Key Responsibilities: Programme Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and lead the Digital & AI Programme, setting the vision, roadmap, and governance.

  • Champion innovation, embedding best practices in AI adoption and digital transformation.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement.

Delivery & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI and digital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Implement robust project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to drive efficiency and transparency.

  • Manage interdependencies across cross-functional teams, mitigating risks and resolving blockers.

Innovation & Emerging Tech

  • Identify and pilot next-gen AI/digital solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Scale successful initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Stakeholder & Influence

  • Engage senior leaders, securing buy-in and communicating programme value.

  • Act as the programme ambassador, presenting at executive forums and industry events.

Team Leadership

  • Build and inspire a high-performing team, mentoring talent and promoting growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

✔ Proven track record in leading large-scale AI/digital transformation programmes.
✔ Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and digital innovation (public sector experience desirable).
✔ Exceptional leadership - able to motivate teams and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
✔ Outstanding communicator, adept at translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
✔ Passion for driving change through emerging technologies.
