Perform cervical screening in line with national guidance. Liaise with local services and attend mandatory training. Conduct regular audits and provide advice on contraception, HRT, and womens health. Support patient education and monitor related supplies. Monitor cleanliness and compliance across clinical areas. Manage infection prevention measures and ensure supply levels are maintained. Process samples and oversee vaccine storage, cold chain, and stock control. Support the provision of travel health services. Ensure adherence to the practice chaperone policy. Monitor patient compliance and assess treatment efficacy. Recognise clinical abnormalities and recommend adjustments as appropriate. Provide care aligned with NICE and NSF guidance. Prescribe medications under PGDs within scope of practice. Appropriately delegate tasks ensuring safe practice. Assess and manage both routine and complex wounds. Use diagnostic tools (e.g. Doppler) as required. Support the team in managing clinical emergencies. Conduct health assessments and identify lifestyle-related risk factors. Develop and evaluate personalised care plans. Promote medication adherence and provide education on use and side effects. Lead chronic disease clinics and refer to secondary care when necessary. Deliver opportunistic and planned health promotion interventions. Recognise and refer patients with mental health concerns. Embed health and wellbeing programmes within the practice. Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne in accordance with NMC standards. Ensure consistent and appropriate use of read codes. Regularly review clinical practice and adapt to policy updates. Participate in significant event reviews. Support the clinical team in safeguarding children and adults, following national and local policies. Participate in annual appraisals and maintain a portfolio of professional development. Take responsibility for continuous learning and skills development. Proactively contribute to personal and team growth. Fulfil revalidation requirements. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality regarding all patient and staff information. Ensure compliance with policies on data protection and information governance. Disclose information only to authorised individuals as per practice protocols. To understand practice and local policies for substance abuse and addictive behaviour, referring patients appropriately To liaise with external services/agencies to ensure the patient is supported appropriately (vulnerable patients etc.) To ensure the appropriate maintenance and use of chronic disease registers.
