Cornwall’s leading specialist dental practice is seeking a GDC-registered Specialist Periodontist for a flexible part-time role. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established and highly respected team in Truro, working within a purpose-built, referral-based environment focused on clinical excellence and patient-centred care. The successful candidate will inherit a strong referral base and be supported in further developing their clinical interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist periodontal assessment and treatment, including non-surgical and surgical therapies


  • Manage complex periodontal cases referred by general practitioners and colleagues within the practice


  • Develop clear, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs


  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals


  • Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance


  • Contribute to the growth of the periodontal service and uphold the practice’s reputation for excellence


    Candidate Requirements:

    • GDC-registered Specialist in Periodontics (must be listed on the GDC Specialist List)


    • Demonstrable experience in specialist periodontal care within a private or referral-based setting


    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


    • Committed to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
