Cornwall’s leading specialist dental practice is seeking a GDC-registered Specialist Periodontist for a flexible part-time role. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established and highly respected team in Truro, working within a purpose-built, referral-based environment focused on clinical excellence and patient-centred care. The successful candidate will inherit a strong referral base and be supported in further developing their clinical interests.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist periodontal assessment and treatment, including non-surgical and surgical therapies

Manage complex periodontal cases referred by general practitioners and colleagues within the practice

Develop clear, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals

Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance

Contribute to the growth of the periodontal service and uphold the practice’s reputation for excellence
Candidate Requirements:

GDC-registered Specialist in Periodontics (must be listed on the GDC Specialist List)

Demonstrable experience in specialist periodontal care within a private or referral-based setting

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
