Gedling Borough Council is committed to making the area a cleaner, safer and greener place to live, work and visit. The Environmental Services team has this at the heart of its activities.

As the Parks Supervisor you will support the Parks management team in the planning, organisation, and efficient management of parks and open spaces, allotments, cemeteries and arboriculture to ensure efficient, effective and economic service delivery.

On a day-to-day basis you will be based at Jubilee Depot, and will organise Parks operatives and undertake all operational administration associated with the delivery of the service.

You will need experience of supervising teams and working within a parks and grounds maintenance environment, numeracy and written skills, ICT skills and the ability to motivate others.
