What will you be doing?
The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the university’s strategic objectives by leading on complex business analysis projects, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. The postholder works closely with senior stakeholders across academic and professional services teams to identify operational challenges, streamline workflows, and enhance business systems. With a focus on evidence-based decision-making, the Senior Business Analyst drives efficiency, improves service delivery, and ensures alignment with institutional goals.
Who are we looking for?
You will be an experienced professional with significant expertise in business analysis, demonstrating a proven ability to lead complex business process analysis, workflow modelling and service improvement initiatives. Your experience will include facilitating workshops, focus groups, and interviews to refine business requirements and support the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and impact assessments. You will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies that align with institutional priorities.
With a track record of advocating for best practices in business analysis, you will ensure compliance with data governance policies, GDPR and sector-wide reporting standards. You will demonstrate leadership in mentoring and developing junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture of continuous improvement. Your ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships will be essential, as you engage with senior leadership to influence decision-making and drive business transformation.
How will you work?
Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders.
