Job Summary: The Organic Fertilizer Manufacturing Factory Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment and processes involved in the production of organic fertilizers. This role involves monitoring production, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment to support the overall success of the organic fertilizer manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Operation:
• Operate and monitor machinery and equipment involved in the organic fertilizer manufacturing process.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production.
2. Batch Processing:
• Follow batch recipes and manufacturing procedures for the production of organic fertilizers.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately, ensuring the proper blending and mixing of components.
3. Quality Control:
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished organic fertilizers.
• Take corrective actions to address deviations from quality standards and report any issues to the supervisor.
4. Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and report any safety hazards, incidents, or malfunctions promptly.
5. Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure its reliability and longevity.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns.
6. Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, including batch logs, inventory, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Provide regular production reports to the management team.
7. Environmental Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices in organic fertilizer manufacturing.
• Implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives where applicable.
8. Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and solve operational challenges.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing is a plus.
• Previous experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, preferably in fertilizer production or a related industry.
• Understanding of organic fertilizer production processes and raw materials.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements: This role may involve standing for extended periods, lifting heavy bags or containers, and working in varying weather conditions.
