Summary
We are currently undergoing recruitment for Assembly operatives for our client in the Oswestry area.
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
Friday: 08:00 – 14:00
£12.21 Per hour
38 Hours per week
Main roles and responsibilities:
Assemble plastic components and bearing systems according to technical specifications and production guidelines.
Operate a range of production machinery, including plastic injection moulding machines and CNC equipment (basic operation or loading/unloading, depending on skill level).
Conduct routine visual and manual quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
Follow work orders, drawings, and written instructions accurately.
Pack finished products safely and correctly for dispatch or further processing.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, following 5S and health & safety standards.
Report any equipment faults, material issues, or deviations from specification to the team leader or supervisor.
Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and basic maintenance as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and productivity targets.
Skills and requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment is beneficial, but not essential as training will be required.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
Strong team player with good communication skills.
