Join Publica, a unique local government company committed to putting people and communities at the heart of everything we do.About the roleWe’re looking for a Transactional Services Team Leader to head up our Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Exchequer teams.You’ll ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality transactional services, manage day-to-day processes, and help shape strategic improvements across financial operations.Some of your responsibilities:Leading and motivating a team delivering AR, AP, and Exchequer servicesOverseeing the timely and accurate processing of transactionsDriving service improvements and process efficiencyActing as the primary liaison for escalated issues and stakeholder communicationCollaborating with internal and external partners to ensure service standards are metYou will needMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g. AAT, CCAB) Qualification in AAT, CCAB or degree level equivalent.Experience of working in a financial environment, with accounts payable for a minimum of five years.Experience of being involved in continuously improving services and developing products to meet customer needProven leadership experience in a financial or transactional service environmentSpecial conditionsAbility to travelBPSSThere may be a requirement to work at other Publica Group (Support) Ltd and/or client locations to meet the needs of the business Publica is a unique place to work - we’re a local government organisation with a twist!
