Summary
We are seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker with a strong background in Safeguarding Adults to join our high-performing Adults MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Front Door Service. You will play a key role in triaging referrals, assessing risk, and coordinating swift, effective responses for adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Triage and assess safeguarding referrals under the Care Act 2014
Work collaboratively across multi-agency teams including health, police, and housing
Apply professional judgement in complex cases and escalate where necessary
Ensure timely, person-centred interventions
Maintain accurate, clear case records in line with statutory and local requirements
Contribute to strategy discussions, planning meetings, and case conferences
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Adult Social Care
Proven experience in Safeguarding Adults, ideally in a MASH or front-door setting
Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation
Effective communication and decision-making skills
Ability to manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment
