Summary

We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join a Working Age Community Mental Health Team.

This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team works to support adult's over the aged 18-65 in the community who have mental health issues. The CMHT service deal with cases that vary in severity and work to support individuals by providing a service that allows them to feel confident and independent. The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out Care Act assessments, arranging care packages and monitoring their effectiveness.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience in carrying out Care Act assessments and Mental Capacity Act assessments is vital for this role. You will need to show a passion and enthusiasm for integrated working and an understanding of how to work with hard to engage adults.
