Summary
Neway International are seeking an ASW Social Worker (2+ years PQE – Adults) to join our client based with Hackney Council | Hours: 36 per week | Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 Rate: PAYE £22.76/hr | Umbrella £29.36/hr | Inside IR35
Hackney Council is looking for a skilled and compassionate Social Worker with at least 2 years' post-qualified experience to join its Adult Services team. If you're ready to support adults through a strengths-based, person-centred approach, this is a fulfilling and meaningful opportunity.
Your Role Will Include:
Assessing the social care needs of service users in line with the Care Act and wellbeing principles.
Leading robust, outcome-focused assessments in collaboration with individuals, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Developing and managing tailored support plans that promote choice, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Managing a varied caseload while ensuring high-quality documentation, safeguarding procedures, and risk assessments.
Contributing to performance monitoring and continuous service improvement under supportive leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within adult services.
A confident assessor and advocate, skilled at navigating complex needs and enabling positive change.
Sound working knowledge of the Care Act and asset-based approaches to adult social care.
