Hours: 30 hours per week

This role is part of the YMCA Derbyshire Lifelong Learning offer.
As part of the Lifelong Learning team your role is to project manage designated employability projects.
The role purpose is to manage projects to empower our residents, community members, and Key College learners to achieve their potential by encouraging and supporting them to build upon their strengths and talents with a particular focus on employability and skills.
Within this you will be part of the delivery team to ensure provision is delivered within project guidelines, will drive the development of effective workplace experiences, and will ensure that we are providing effective support for our employer partners. You will be the point of coordination and communication with the project funders supported by the Director of Lifelong Learning. Your key focus will be support and development of programme participants to ensure future success in building their employability and vocational skills to ensure they secure their next steps onto education or employment.
Community Gardens.
It will be essential for you to find creative and innovative ways to engage and motivate participants, and to give them a voice.
A driving license and use of own car is essential as there will be an expectation to work across numerous sites.
The appointment is subject to YMCA Derbyshire receiving two satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a six-month probationary period.
