Crynodeb
Westminster City Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Risk Surveyor to lead and manage the delivery of a comprehensive fire safety programme across its housing portfolio. This role is central to ensuring the safety of residents and maintaining compliance with fire safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and manage fire risk assessments and ensure timely completion of remedial actions
• Lead fire safety projects from inception to completion
• Undertake post-incident investigations in collaboration with the London Fire Brigade
• Provide technical guidance and support across the organisation
• Attend resident meetings and represent the council on fire safety matters
• Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Support procurement processes and maintain robust quality assurance procedures
