What skills and experience we're looking for
Be a qualified teacher with QTS and ideally hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO), or be willing to work towards it
• Have successful experience in coordinating SEND provision, ideally in a primary setting
• Be highly knowledgeable in SEND legislation, the SEND Code of Practice (2014), and inclusive strategies
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to working with pupils with a range of additional needs
• Be an excellent communicator who can lead, support, and inspire both staff and families
• Be proactive, organised and reflective, always striving for the best outcomes
• Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to shape and monitor high-impact SEND strategy
