Do you have a passion for science and an interest in supporting young people? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Technician to join our highly dedicated Science faculty. The role can be 3 or 4 days per week, and you will be part of dedicated team with a deep commitment to delivering excellent results at both GCSE and A Level, inspiring the scientists of the future.
The successful candidate will have a background or interest in Science, although full training will be given. You will support the team in lessons through the preparation, delivery and maintenance of equipment and through championing health & safety awareness. Your contribution will ensure that students can maximize their practical time and achieve the best possible results. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong rapport with students and colleagues. You will also be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
Fullbrook is a successful and highly popular mixed 11-18 Academy classified by Ofsted in March 2022 as “Good”. We have a centralised behaviour system allowing consistent classroom strategies with low impact processes. Our culture is friendly and supportive with a strong commitment to staff wellbeing and development. We have an active social calendar, including end of year trips, staff sporting fixtures and access to a free gym onsite.
