Job Title: Internals Site Manager - University Refurbishment

Location: Leeds

Contract: ASAP start till October 2025

Salary: £330-£350 per day Umbrella

Are you a seasoned Internals Site Manager ready to lead a high-quality university refurbishment?

We're a leading contractor seeking an Internals Site Manager for a significant university refurbishment project. You'll oversee all internal fit-out and finishing, transforming academic spaces and enhancing the university environment.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for the meticulous planning, execution, and completion of all internal works. Key responsibilities include:

  • Program & Quality: Driving the internal works program, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.
  • H&S & Subcontractors: Upholding site safety and managing internal trade subcontractors.
  • Technical & Logistics: Interpreting drawings, managing materials, and resolving site challenges.
  • Communication: Liaising with the project team and university stakeholders.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an Internals Site Manager on large refurbishment/fit-out projects, ideally in education.
  • Strong understanding of internal trades (M&E coordination, carpentry, drylining, finishes).
  • Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Essential Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black), First Aid at Work. DBS.
