My client, an award winning IT and broadband supplier in Cornwall and the South West are looking for Permission Agents to start as soon as possible.
• 6 weeks temporary work (Full time – 37.5 hrs per week)
• Immediate start
• Is working remote outdoors
• Must have own vehicle and driving licence as there will be travelling involved
• £12.60 PER HOUR + MILEAGE AND £200 bonus for each 100 signatures/permissions gained
• Training provided
The Objective:
To accelerate the clearance of the current Permissions to Work (PTW) stack by deploying dedicated field-based resource focused solely on door knocking and gaining customer permissions for planned works.
The Background:
The existing PTW backlog is impacting internet network build efficiency and delivery timeframes. Internal resource constraints—combined with the volume and nature of required follow-ups—necessitate a direct engagement model to secure outstanding consents.
The Role:
Small, targeted team whose sole responsibility will be:
• Speaking directly with occupants/owners.
• Explaining the nature and benefit of the works.
• Securing on-the-spot approvals or scheduling revisits where necessary.
Scope and Role Clarity:
• These resources are not expected to engage in technical wayleave negotiation, legal drafting, or wider design negotiations.
• Your remit is limited to customer interaction at the door, recording outcomes, and passing back confirmed permissions to the core PTW/Wayleave team for processing.
• Working hours and areas will be planned around known PTW backlog clusters to maximise efficiency. We would look to target areas to get the best efficiency out of the team.
• You will need their own vehicle and should be insured for business use, and will be able to claim back mileage through our expenses form
• 2 days intense training with the team then will be out in the field 5 days per week, with visits to Liskeard head office to drop off paperwork when required
• Each given a case load to manage and be responsible for of around 300/400 each to cover in the 6 weeks.
• To make the role more appealing, we are willing to pay a £200 bonus for 100 signatures/permissions gained.
These are IMMEDIATE temporary roles WITH START DATES ASAP but are ongoing for 6 weeks, we pay weekly and there could be an opportunity to go perm.
