Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a practice background, looking for something a little different?
Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Assistant to join their close-knit team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting diverse business interests.
What You'll Be Doing:You'll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across a variety of entities, including those in the financial consultancy and property sectors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Full bookkeeping through to management accounts and financial statements
- Preparing VAT returns and managing fixed asset registers
- Weekly payment runs and bank reconciliations
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Producing insightful reports and forecasts
- Getting involved in ad hoc projects and providing cover for colleagues when needed
What We're Looking For:
- AAT Level 4 qualified with relevant practice experience
- Strong understanding of VAT and accounting software
- A proactive, organised individual who thrives in a busy environment
- A team player with integrity, discretion, and excellent communication skills
